Rules clarification

Hi, if we are to post our projects on the forum, what stops someone else from copying the idea? Second question if the project has been submitted to another hackathon would it be disqualified?

    Hi Bethel, you do not publish your entire project source code to the forum. The forum is for you to post a general idea of your project and update the progress as you have made it. It actually builds trust with the community as the judges and the community users get to see the development and evolution of the project. This also helps verify that you are the rightful owner as progress can be recorded clearly and publicly.

    For your second question, if a project has been submitted to another hackathon, it won't be qualified. You just need to be honest with it and select the right option during submission. Purposely submitting incorrect information may cause a project to be disqualified.
